Hey femmes ,
So I know I've been M.I.A over the holiday and its been two weeks since I've made a post; no I have not forgotten about you guys ,I've just been a little caught up ,so please forgive me .
It was a hectic Easter weekend ,my friend visited and she had me all over the place going to these different events ,if you follow me on Instagram you'll probably know what I'm talking about .
However while I was up and down , going to these different places I think I was more excited about what I was wearing rather than the actual parties lol . I got a few new things added to my wardrobe which I happened to really like .

                                                             Holiday Favorites !

Midi Rings
I have no clue why I took so long to get these .

Sandal Platform Wedges
I wouldn't say I love wearing heels, therefore I found these to be really comfortable .

DIY Upcycled Top

I got so many compliments on this top and so many people were asking me where I bought it when actually this was a dress ( yes dress ) that i got from forever21 long ago .The cross pattern in the front was actually the back of the dress which I flipped and made it the front of the shirt .I cut the sides off and used an elastic clothing band which I cut into 6 strips and sewed it to the sides of the top.3 on each side .

                                                           How I wore it !

( yes I am a bathroom selfie kind of girl :p)

Nude Pointed Stilettos
Not so new but I am obsessed !

Blue Romper
This was actually given to me by mommy :) and I absolutely love it. My closet can never match up to my mom's .

                                                               How I wore it

So summer is around the corner and very soon every girl is going to be in a mad rush to find the perfect swimsuit or just any cute fun outfit that you may want to wear on the beach or to a party. If you're looking for something good its probably going to cost you a fortune ;( ,and if you know anything about me , you'll know that I am not going to spend a million dollars on a piece of cloth -.-; In addition to that I'm very resourceful ,thrifty and I'm married to my scissors lol. Here is a simple way you can transform ONE skirt into three or more outfits :)

Did I pull it off ?

STEP 1.
Go into your closet and try to find a skirt you can sacrifice cutting . Preferably something like a skater skirt .

STEP 2.
Get a pair of scissors and cut the end of the skirt in the same manner I did below .
STEP 3.
Now cut that strip .You can cut it at any point so don't worry about messing it up.

                                                     AND YOU'RE DONE !

You now have a skirt and a top. You can wrap this material which you have cut from the skirt into any style you like . Just be creative, open minded and trust your instinct.

Hey femme fatales ,

" Why did you go natural ?" - this question is thrown at me all the time . Well i can honestly say that the reason i decided to go natural is because i was frustrated with the process of getting my hair relaxed every six weeks. My scalp is very sensitive due to the fact that I have mild eczema in my scalp .Yes ,real girl ,with real problems . Didn't matter what relaxer i used ,it would always burn like crazy! And in addition to that, my hair had been processed for years.I had my first relaxer at age 7. I didn't remember anything about my natural hair . My only memory of it was that it was really thick and i would hide whenever it was 'wash day' lol . Here's a little timeline of my hair journey along with my current hair products .

2013

2014 ( Began cutting my hair  )
2014 ( July , BIG CHOP!)
2015 (Current hair status )
My current hair products

Tips for going natural :
Tip 1. have a good reason ,lol don't go natural because it's trending ,do it because it's something that YOU want to do .That way you will be more prepared for the challenges that come with it .
Tip 2. Do not let anyone discourage you ,trust me i faced a lot of discouragement when i decided to go natural .
Tip 3 .Its rough! ,getting to know your hair can be really frustrating ,but eventually you will definitely get the hang of it,watch a lot of youtube videos ,that's what i did .
Tip 4. Accept your hair for what it is,not everyone is gonna have wavy natural hair ,a lot of girls go natural thinking that they are gonna have a wavy texture, then they get disappointed and all that, so femmes ensure that you have a good reason for going natural .

Hey guys ,
So two weeks ago I shared a simple home remedy that I use to get rid of my acne scars ,however today I'm sharing another home remedy to help control acne breakouts.
What's cuter than having a face covered in pimples -.- ..........Everything. When I started high school I struggled for probably 3 years with acne, it was really embarrassing because the other kids had faces that were smoother than a babies butt . This was the only thing that seemed to work for me :)

BAKING SODA

How to do this ?
You simply make a paste by adding two/three table spoons of water with two table spoons of baking soda .
This paste is used to exfoliate the skin, removing dead skin cells and dirt . I usually just use this as a scrub but you can also just simply apply it directly to your pimples for about 10 -15 minutes and then rinse it off .

Tips for using this :
Tip 1. Baking soda can be very drying to your skin,so after using this you may want to moisturize your face .I personally use olive oil.
Tip 2. Some people leave this on overnight ,you can but I wouldn't advise you to because as I said previously ,baking soda can be harsh on skin.
Tip 3. If you have any open pimples ,it might burn a little ,but not for too long .If it continues rinse it off Asap with cold water.
Tip 4. Avoid using this too often , 2-3 times a week is good enough.
Tip 5.If you have severe acne ,and this doesn't work, and nothing at allll works for you ,then i would recommend trying - A- Ret (Tretinoin ) . My sister has tried this and it worked really well for her.Research it .

If you try this out,let me know if it worked .

 Hey femme fatales,
So, this weekend I ran into some trouble with my wardrobe, but luckily I had my scissors with me so I was able to save myself. I came home for the weekend and I didn't expect to go anywhere so I left all my clothes back at my other place. Then my friend called to have a link up that I just couldn't say no to. The only thing i had at home were very old clothes, some that I didn't even remember existed. I felt jammed and a little hopeless to be honest, to the point where I didn't even want to go out anymore; however that would make me seem like a complete diva. So I got it together, scrambled my old clothes, and reached for my magic wand (scissors), and the end result was this semi-retro outfit:

BEFORE
Some old school pants that got really tight and a button down shirt that I've had for the longest while:D
